How many have your name?

I got to talking with the receptionist at my rheumatologist’s office and apparently the book Freakonomics goes into comparing the names of children born to highly educated parents vs. the names of children born to less educated parents and Flannery is high on the list of names given by highly educated parents. Go mom! I should check this book out.

Edited: Ah ha, thanks to my Google-fu, I have found the same thing in an article in Slate by the authors of Freakonomics. Check out the accompanying sidebar that projects the most popular names of 2015, based on this trend. Victory and an off-the-shelf personalized mug may soon be mine!

According to the website - there’s zero of me. So I don’t know if that means that I don’t exist, or there’s only one of me. I’ll go with the latter. I’m sure you’ll all have the same hope.
